Your job as a bison ecology volunteer might be to collect data in fieldwork. You might have to track the vital statistics of bison in the winter time. To track bison you would need to know how to operate a snow mobile in order to do your work as an volunteer. You might also be required to know how to ski under frigid conditions. To do the work you would have to be able to ski with heavy backpacks on your back, because you may be expected to camp out in snow caves, or carry a tent on your back. Besides camping gear, you might also be expected to carry photography equipment.
